FTS International Express was incorporated in September 1989 as the international freight forwarding division of Formosa Travel Service, a 28 year old company headquartered in Los Angeles, California. Our services include NVOCC, international air and ocean freight forwarding, project and break bulk shipments, buyers’ consolidation, warehousing and world wide inbound customs brokerage.

The phenomenal growth of FTS in the past 19 years is attributed to our mission of providing the most efficient and outstanding services to our customers while striving to keep our pricing competitive. We want all of our customers to grow with us so that we can become a vital link to their businesses as well as enabling them to increase their profitability by fully utilizing our extensive world wide networks. We also want to make sure our customers feel that every dollar they spend will get its best value and quality of service they truly deserve.

FTS has 5 offices throughout the U.S.A. Our headquarters is located in Bensenville, Illinois, suburb of Chicago. In 1994, FTS International Express branched out into five separate divisions which are wholly owned by FTS Holding Corporation. We now have a freight forwarding division, NVOCC department, Airlines GSA office, a bonded warehouse and a  domestic trucking company all under one group for your one-stop shopping logistical needs.

Our key personnel come from a variety of backgrounds including previous work experience with airlines, custom brokers, air and ocean freight forwarders, NVOCC, and other similar industries. This vast knowledge of our employees can directly benefit our customers and also enable us to better serve your individual transportation needs.
